Another bold (read reckless) prediction I am going to make is that there will be push back against prodigies that have parents that went the extra mile to give their kids a leg up in the culture of their chosen sport. In the surfing world there are parents that have moved countries and funded seemingly endless travel to give the kids the best possible opportunities to achieve an excellent level. Without even thinking about it I can list Jermey Flores, Sky Brown, Leo Fioravanti and Brisa Hennessy as current beneficiaries.
