Listen now (87 mins) | Celebrating the new RaD book, and the unique creative energy of the UK skate community, with three of the scene's most influential figures.
What a great episode Matt. It resonated deeply having grown up skating in Australia through the early 80's, 90's and beyond with my younger brother (Chad), Andrew Currie and Matt Mumford provided a rich stomping ground for those of us geographical removed from California like you guys up there.
Those earlier decades where foreigners, International skaters had to break the molds of the US centric nature of the industry were magical years. It's amazing now to see where skateboarding is globally and to have been a key part of those formative, transitional years where the Aussies, Brits, Kiwi's, Euro's etc all paved new ways forward through our own scenes.
