Really enjoyed this conversation. It's great when you hear respected successful creatives reminding everyone that they too were shit at things when they started but just kept going.
Superb! Perfect accompaniment to a long drive yesterday morning pre sunrise. Recently I’ve realised that little bugger on my shoulder that’s had me believe I’m not that much of a creative person is full of rubbish.
Similar to watching a surf, climbing etc vid and getting fired up to get out there this has got me similarly stoked to make stuff ⚡️
This was a magnificent episode! Loved the conversation on creativity, the way he frames his life and career and just the discussion was amazing.
One thing I miss from the earlier podcasts is the way you were adding a bunch of notes/links/places/people mentioned links in the article. I just loved how it was connecting things and providing a way to wander and serendipitously enhance my creativity and inspiration and knowledge.
Thanks so much Yannick. Ah yes the old Show Notes - tbh I decided to use that time over here with the 10 Things and blogs. Glad you enjoyed checking them out tho!
Yeah, choices are hard and not many people were maybe interested in that. I loved how it built a graph from the discussion to so many things, it made it tangible in a 3D kind of way for my brain !
Great conversation - championing the need for diverse creative outlets, and of course, just turning up and doing the thing. Good to hear.
I really needed to be reminded of it tbh

I thought the way Thomas spoke about creativity and his career was super interesting

Epic Calum, so glad to hear that
