A tale of collaborative creativity about Ghana's surf community that seeks to 'challenge the historic representation of Ghanians in a story of reclamation and joy'.
I love this conversation. Conventional wisdom is for conventional people. This podcast shines a wee light on the world that exists beyond the pedestrianism of the status quo.
I loved this one!! Mind you I love both Maddie and Lucy. They clearly have such a fab bond and great respect for each other but also for putting the story before any of their own feelings. They told the story in Yama as such an honest representation and tackled some pretty weighty subjects without shying away or making the viewer look internally.
I was lucky enough to be on the discussion panel at the UK premier and seeing the audience respond to the movie was amazing. What a duo!!
The surf world is a better place with Lucy Small and Maddie Meddings! 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
Right on brother
