Interesting point from Stacy about accepting what you can no longer have/access, being grateful for it and finding value in something new. It applies to so much more than boardsports - there’s no use being nostalgic, miserable and wearing out your rose-tinted glasses... get out there and enjoy what’s around you
Ok so here’s another thought. Stacy talks about learning to fall as an analogous for learning to fail. But I guess this isn’t a binary thing - does anyone ever reach the point of knowing how to fail or is it a continual progression?
Thanks Cliff! I did have a couple of thoughts in mind but yeah as you say it ended up taking on a bit of a life of its own. Would have loved to have longer but he was on a tight schedule that day so I tried to keep it moving pretty quickly.
