For episode 007 of the @WeLookSideways action sports podcast, @barrmatt spoke to the legend that is Tom Burt, Snowboarding’s Great Pioneer. Why? Tom is one of those riders that shaped snowboarding in his own image and has been at the forefront of the sport since the mid-80s.
In the interview they discussed tales and feats from his career, including his first descent of Cordova Peak in Alaska back in the 90s. Tom used this polaroid to plot his route before tackling this beast. It’s still one of the most impressive lines in snowboarding history.
