Episode 018 just hit the virtual shelves and is ready and waiting for your aural enjoyment.
I headed to Ireland to chat to big wave charger Fergal Smith about giving it all up to start Moy hill community farm, their new Crowdfunder campaign and plenty more.
This is an inspirational story about radical life choices and the power of being in service to something bigger than yourself. Click the link to have a listen.

Episode 018 with pro surfer and farmer Fergal Smith is live! Here’s Ferg surfing a typical bomb on the infamous Fitzgerald board from Litmus.
I spent a couple of days with Ferg over at @moyhillfarm and got the lowdown on why he quit pro surfing, the ethos behind @moyhillfarm, why they’ve launched a @crowdfunderuk campaign and why you should donate.
This is a cracking episode with a softly-spoken visionary both on and off a surfboard, which should inspire and enthral in equal measure.
This is part one of a special Irish omnibus following my recent trip to the west coast – look out for forthcoming episodes with @sophiehellyer and @easkeysurf dropping soon.
Thanks to @honestcaptain for all the help and @ianmitchinson for the killer shot. Hit the link in my bio for a listen and please check out the @moyhillfarm site to find out more.

I’m just back from a brilliant week on the west coast of Ireland, where I surfed, swam and caught up with these three legends for forthcoming episodes of the podcast: Fergal Smith of @moyhillfarm, @sophiehellyer and @easkeysurf.
Thanks so much to you all for your hospitality and welcome. Ferg’s episode drops first in the next couple of days. Click the link in my bio and subscribe through that to make sure you hear them.
I was joined on this trip by my very talented friend, the great @owenmadeup, who took these great photos.
Owen is a film maker, designer and photographer – he also came up with the @WeLookSideways branding. Go follow him or check his work out.

ICYMI – episode 017 with legendary longboarder and honcho of @skindog_surfboards @skindoggydog is up and has been going down rather well. Tune in to hear Ben discuss @skindog_surfboards, his ambition to win a World Title and why he was so pissed off at an article slating UK surfing. Hit the link in my bio to have a listen, and huge thanks to Sharpy @carvemag for the pics.
