At our recent gallery show at Wangl Tangl artist Schoph was able to deliver one of his paintings – a pair of enormous 6-foot by 4-foot canvases entitled Dead Questions In Those Eyes – to the Swedish band The Truckfighters, who had commissioned the work for their studio back in Sweden. We were lucky enough to have been present at the handover, and we filmed Schoph talking about how the pair of paintings came about, and how Schoph had taken inspiration from a short story written by the Truckfighters’ enigmatic drummer Pezo whilst going for a walkabout in the desert.
